Whisky Galore A Musical! Based on the novel Whisky Galore by Compton Mackenzie
Whisky Galore A Musical! Was staged as a shortened production in 2006 in the Edinburgh Fringe. In 2009 Pitlochry Festival Theatre Commissioned Ian Hammond Brown - Music & Lyrics and Shona McKee McNeil - Book adaptation, to re-write their Fringe Production for their 2009 Homecoming Season. The show played to full houses throughout the 2009 season. As well as being the first full scale musical ever at Pitlochry it became the best selling show in PFT's 58 Year history.

A lively piece of family entertainment…the presentation bristles with energy. Add that to the Festival Theatre's typically high production values…and you have a hit on your hands.

It's a fresh, innovative and fluid production. This imaginative reworking of Compton MacKenzie's funny, romantic and hugely entertaining novel does provide the feel-good factor by the tonne.
